#1 North Allegheny – Igniting a trailblazing path towards their 6th consecutive WPIAL Girls AAA XC championship, the team’s unyielding lineup of returning champions catapults them into the spotlight as an awe-inspiring force this cross-country season. The resounding footsteps of Wren Kucler, Eva Kynaston, Erin McGoey, Robin Kucler, Kendall Lucas, and Camille Swirsding all possess the ability to break the 20-minute barrier.

Mount Lebanon, Norwin, Peters Township & South Fayette return strong lineups in 2023 and will be fighting for that #2 team spot.


*Preseason rankings are based on returning runners from 2022. I am unaware of incoming freshmen or transfers for each team.

*Team Rankings will be posted on August 15th, September 12th, October 12th, and October 24th.

*Rankings will be based on 2023 Invitationals as I don’t have access to section meet results.
