| About you | Running was never something I saw myself becoming successful in. Ever since elementary school, I was not the most athletic kid; I was terrible at football and basketball. I came to try track my freshman year. I met two seniors who introduced me to the distance running side of the track, and I ran a 5:17 the first time I ever ran the mile. I never looked back, and since then, I’ve been able to set all of my school’s distance records, win a state cross-country title, secure two track national titles in my age bracket, claim a WPIAL title, and participate in many incredible races. Running is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I want to share it with other people too! |
