Is there a specific race or competition you’re particularly proud of?
400: I had never run the 400m race before, nor did I know if I had the stamina or durability for it. I faced the challenge head-on, eager to test my limits.
How did you first become involved in track and field?
At the beginning of 2024, I was going through some personal issues and needed an outlet to keep my mind off the situation. I decided to take up track as a way to channel my energy positively.
What is your favorite event to compete in, and why?
I enjoy the 100m race because I have two competitors in my sights whom I want to beat. Their presence motivates me to push harder and strive for improvement.
What are your goals this season?
My goal is to become the fastest runner on my team and to help us win the WPIALs. I want my individual performance to contribute significantly to the team’s overall success.
What is your favorite track and field memory from your high school career so far?
In our most recent meet, I hit a new personal record, and I was elated to find out that our team went undefeated in the section, showcasing our collective progress and potential.
