If you had to describe your track and field journey in one word, what would it be and why?
If I had to sum up my track and field journey in one word, it would be exhilarating. Track has always given me a rush of excitement, especially in the moments leading up to a jump.
What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to overcome in your jumping career?
The biggest challenge I’ve faced in my jumping career is learning to handle the tough days. There are times when I’m just off and don’t perform as well as I’d like, which can be incredibly frustrating. Overcoming those moments has been key to my growth as an athlete.
What’s your favorite meet or competition you’ve ever participated in?
My favorite meet is the Shenango Invitational. Every year I’ve competed there, I’ve either broken a record or set a new personal best, making it an unforgettable experience each time.
