When the starting gun fires, what immediate thought or focus guides your initial burst of speed?
When the gun fires, my immediate focus is on a rapid start, maintaining a low center of gravity, and executing the technical elements my coach has drilled into me. I concentrate on proper leg and arm mechanics, and maintaining correct form until I cross the finish line.

If you could participate in a dream race, anywhere in the world, against any runner, what would that scenario look like, and why?
My dream race would be a 60-meter dash at the Armory against Christian Coleman. I’d want to test my starting technique against his, and experience firsthand what it’s like to compete against a professional athlete at that level.

What specific race moment has left an indelible mark on you, and why does it resonate so deeply?
My 100-meter race at the District 8 AAA Championships is a moment that will stay with me forever. The discouragement I felt after that race was profound. However, that experience became a pivotal point in my athletic journey. It fueled my determination, and now, it drives me to train ten times harder than I did that year, ensuring I never revisit that feeling of disappointment.
