Winning the WPIAL Team Playoffs demands careful planning to win three or four meets in one day, often requiring tough choices — like whether to stack distance events or shift athletes between relays and individual races. With its unique format, the playoffs reward teams with strong depth, and larger AAA schools often have an advantage over AA programs.
