Boys AAA Notes
Drew Griffith Butler looks to win back-to-back WPIAL AAA boys’ championships and become the 22nd male athlete to win two championships.

North Allegheny is looking to win their 6th straight WPIAL AAA Championship, but Butler is looking to win their first team title since 1988. This matchup is very interesting; it will ultimately come down to the one-on-one matchups between the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th runners. The 15th to 30th overall finishers are determining factors in who wins the team championship.

The field has four runners under 16 minutes this season.

Norwin, South Fayette, Fox Chapel, and Seneca Valley all have the potential to secure one of the top two team slots.

This race is a fairly even playing field for the 10th to 25th finishers.
