AA Girl Notes	The WPIAL has a deep field of girls who are capable of medaling. Several of the finishers (7) from 2022 have graduated. This is a wide-open race for anyone to win. Highly anticipated rematch between Baylee Espinosa and Madison Hedglin. Baylee took the win at PA Foundation 30 days ago. The team title should come down to Danville, Cathedral Prep, St. Mary’s, and North Catholic.

AA Boys Notes	Nine boys from the WPIAL are ranked in the top 25 in Pennsylvania, which could translate to more WPIAL medals. Ryan Pajak vs. Colin Whitaker, two of the best in Pennsylvania, will square off for the second time this season. What makes it even better is that they are future teammates at Notre Dame. The 2022 Boys PIAA state champs, Grove City vs. Hampton! These two teams will race for the second time this season. This might be the best team matchup all weekend. Hampton has had this date circled on their calendars since November 6th, 2002! It’s going to come down to each number and place to decide this great matchup.
